During my professional career as a designer I had some opportunities to develop some logos. My will has always been to keep them as simple as possible, but it is often difficult to convince the client of this aspect.
I think that the relationship with the customer should always be direct and truthful, trying to show that the choice is his but that going down more visually complex paths could compromise the evolution of the company. Below you can see part of my logos development.
