Brazilian culture has many influences from Africa.
This was a project in which African culture was honored through symbols that influenced the Brazilian way of life.
9 concepts of postage stamps were created for Correios do Brasil, all made with acrylic technique on Couché 200gr paper. The idea here was to leave the painting somewhat rudimentary without much precision or perfection.
Dance, music, spirituality, gastronomy, visual arts were enriched with various spices from this rich continent and the National Day of Black Consciousness is the date that celebrates, in addition to this tradition, several other very important reasons in Brazil.
