In this portfolio, I present the most expressive and significant animation works that I have had the honor of participating in throughout my career. In each of the projects listed below, I performed different roles and challenges, which contributed to my growth and development as a professional and as a person. In some of these projects I was able to collaborate as an animator, creating movements and expressions for the characters and objects. Others I was able to cooperate as an animation supervisor, guiding and coordinating the team of animators, in addition to reviewing and improving the scenes. Others I was able to participate as animation director, defining the style, rhythm and quality of the animation, as well as interacting with the other departments of the project. And on one project I was able to play the role of creative director, being
responsible for the conception, planning and execution of the work, from the initial idea to final delivery.
In all these activities, I had mistakes and successes, but also many opportunities for learning and overcoming. I think that in each project I was able to learn a lot from my project colleagues, who taught me, inspired me and supported me at each stage. And most importantly, I think I was able to evolve professionally and personally, honoring all my knowledge acquired during the challenges encountered in the past, and always seeking to improve and update myself for the challenges of the future.

In this portfolio, I show some illustration work that I have developed over the last three years. I consider myself a new illustrator, as I started drawing as a hobby, but after taking some courses and feeling confident and prepared to carry out this activity, I started illustrating professionally. I have a background in animation, storytelling and children’s content production, which gave me a solid foundation and a broad vision to create illustrations that delight and educate children. I believe that children’s illustration is a vocation of mine, as I love drawing, creating stories and connecting with the playful and imaginative universe of children.
My illustrations are inspired by different themes, such as animals, nature, fantasy, culture, humor, adventure, etc. I try to use vibrant colors, simple shapes, striking expressions and creative details to give life and
personality to my characters and settings. I also seek to convey a positive, fun and educational message in each illustration, which can stimulate children’s curiosity, creativity and sensitivity. I use different techniques and tools to illustrate, such as pencil, pen, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. I like to experiment and vary my style, according to the purpose and audience of each project.

In this portfolio, I display some work as a graphic designer that I have carried out throughout my professional career. I have graduated in design since 2001 and have extensive experience and knowledge in the area of visual communication. The design activity helped me a lot in my other animation and illustration activities, because with this tool I was able to understand the processes and theories of how to create and transmit visual messages in an effective and creative way. I find this a differentiator in my work as an animator and illustrator, as I can apply the concepts and principles of design in my works, such as harmony, contrast, balance, proportion, rhythm, hierarchy, etc.
Although I love graphic design, I work as a designer more as a secondary activity that forms the basis for my other activities. I dedicate myself more to animation and illustration, which are my passions and vocations. Therefore, I only accept design work when it
really moves me and I identify with it, when it has a purpose and meaning for me and the audience. I don’t design for the sake of it, I design with love and commitment.
My graphic design work covers different types of projects, such as logos, posters, folders, banners, flyers, invitations, cards, etc. I seek to create designs that are original, attractive, functional and appropriate to the context and objective of each project. I like to explore and innovate my style, according to trends and market demands.
